Stampin Up “Gifts from the Garden” Happy Stampers Blog Hop

Hi Stampers, Happy Thursday and Happy Stamping to each of you.  Ah, another Happy Stampers Blog hop today.  Life has been a bit busy  these last few weeks moving my in-laws from Arizona to Vancouver Washington.  With all that has been going on, I decided a simple card was in order for my share today.  I hope you enjoy the clean and simple card today (I know, that is not usual my style) but you have to mix things up every once in awhile.

We had a color challenge this week.  I guess I was not wearing my classes and I read the challenge as Real Red, Garden Green and Crumb Cake.  The actual colors are Rose Red (not Real Red) Garden Green and Crumb Cake.  Grace was given to me by our wonderful Happy Stampers and they said just use the color combo that you created your card with.  Here is the “REAL” color challenge

Watering Can: crumb cake sponged with soft suede

Boots: real red

Foliage: garden green

I stamped all the images on the front of the art piece as the first step.  With a scrap piece of whisper white card stock I inked up the watering can and boots a second time.  They were fussy cut and adhered with some dimensionals directly on top of the matching inked images.   The foliage was inked in garden green and I used a soft suede marker to fill in the boots to make it look like planting soil.

The water drops: were dazzling details and the bow on the watering can was some linen thread.

I love your take on the hop with the boots, watering can, tiny flowers and the great sentiment. Thanks for sharing your tips.
