Stampin Up Garden In Bloom Thank You

Hi Stampers, Happy Monday and Happy Stamping to all of you.  My share today is using the Garden In Bloom stamp set.  I used this set in my last blog post and wanted to show you another card using the same stamp.

Garden In Bloom:

Here is the card recipe:

Card base: Whisper White 4-1/4 x 11 scored at 5-1/2

Mat: Marina Mist 4-1/8 x 5-3/8

Art Piece: Whisper White 4 x 5-1/4

The Details:

The flowers and leaves were all stamped using the Garden In Bloom stamp set from Stampin Up.

The Flowers:  They were outlined  in Tuxedo Black ink. The petals were inked in Marina Mist and the centers were inked in daffodil delight ink.

The Leaves: Outlined in black and the centers were old olive.

Before adhering the flowers and leaves I added some white bakers twine to the card.

The flowers  were fussy cut and adhered with dimension for added depth. The leaves were also cut out and adhered with glue dots.

The Sentiment:   One Big Meaning stamp set in black.

To finish the card some Rhinestones and a tiny yellow flower were added for that finishing touch.

Stunning card! Love how you create the layers with the baker’s twine. I have a hard time placing it and my cards look stilted when I try using twine!
