Stampin Up “Flower Patch” Flower Pot Card:
I saw this card on Julie Davidson’s Blog and wanted to try my version of the card. I learned how to do the flower pot from her blog and then created my own bouquet design using the Flower Patch stamp set and matching dies.
Here is the recipe for the card:
Flower Pot: Crumb cake sponged with soft suede 3-1/2 x 9
Flowers and leaves: Whisper White card stock
All the flowers and leaves were inked and then stamped with the Flower Patch Stamp set and cut with the Flower Fair Framelits.
Dahlia: Melon Mambo, stamped twice. I then cut the top portion of the flower apart and added it to the other Melon Mambo flower for dimension. The center is embellished with a rhinestone.
Spiky Daisy: Bermuda Bay with a Daffodil Delight center that was put on with a dimensional. I added a Bermuda Bay Candy Dot in the Daffodil Delight center.
5 Petal Flower: Inked in Wisteria Wonder with a Wisteria Wonder stamped center. It’s My Party Enamel Dots in Melon Mambo were added to the center of these flowers.
Leaves: Old Olive, stamped again for the details in Old Olive.
Ribbon: I cut 14 inches of the Melon Mambo cotton ribbon and 14 inches of the Bermuda Bay 1/8 inch Stitched Ribbon and tied a knot around the flower pot. This is what keeps the flower pot together to hold your sentiment page.
Mat: Crumb-cake 2-1/2 x 4-1/2 sponged with soft suede
Art Piece: 2-1/4 x 4-1/4
Sentiment: inked in Bermuda Bay and Melon Mambo using the Flower Patch Stamp set.
