Stampin Up Balloon Celebration in Pinks

Happy Monday and welcome to my blog and another card share for you today.  Today I want to share another card using the Balloon Celebration stamp set that is found in the Spring catalog.  I am so happy to say, this stamp set is carrying over into the BIG catalog that goes live in just a few days.

Stampin Up Balloon Celebration in Pinks:

My last post used the same stamp set but I used the coordinating punch to punch out the balloons.  This card uses the stamp set only for a “no extra postage” card.  I love the way you get so many different looks by mixing it up but, the bargain is so many looks with just one punch and stamp set.

Here is the card recipe:

Card Base: Watermelon Wonder 4-1/4 x 11 scored at 5-1/2

Mat: Birthday Bouquet DSP 4 x 5-1/4

Mat: Watermelon Wonder 3-5/8 x 4-7/8

Art Piece: 3-1/2 x 4-3/4

Sentiment: Basic Black and Watermelon Wonder ink in using the Hello stamp set

Balloons: Watermelon Wonder full strength and stamped off (this gives you different tones all using the same ink pad)   Blushing Bride ink full strength and stamped off. The Balloon strings were stamped with Smokey Slate ink.

Details:  White Bakers Twine bow and some silver sequins finish off the card. Oh and one last detail, the shine marks on the balloons were put on with the white gel pen for added detail.
