Hi Stampers, Can I just say I am loving all the new products in the Holiday Catalog and am excited to share another fall card with you today. This card is using the Stampin Up “For All Things” stamp set found in the holiday catalog on page 41, item number 135152 in wood and 135155 in clear mount. The technique that was used to color the stamped leaves in the background is called the “rock and roll” technique. You ink up your stamp in the lighter color and then just touch the edges down in the darker ink by rolling the edges in a rock and roll pattern to color just the edges. The cut out leaves were inked up and then using a sponge dauber colored in a random pattern to mimic the changing colors during the fall season. Add some wood leaves and ribbon and you have a great fall card. I hope you enjoyed my share today. Have fun trying this technique and making this card for the upcoming fall season or Thanksgiving holiday.
The card recipe is:
