Hi stampers, here is another card that I want to share with you using Stampin Up’s stamp set Tea Party. Making cards using the same set is a great way to get lots of use from the stamps we purchase. This card was inspired by a card I saw from Deb Valder. I used a different stamp and added my own touches to make a bit different, thank you Deb for the ideas.
Stampin Up Tea Party
Here is the recipe for the card:
Card base: Whisper White cut at 4-1/4 by 11, scored at 5-1/2
Mat: Basic Black cut at 4 x 5-1/4
Second Mat: 3-3/4 by 5 inked with black ink with the I Love Lace stamp set
Tag: Basic Black cut 2 x 4 punched with the scallop punch
Details: Stamp the image from the Tea Party stamp set twice. Cut one out with the oval framelits. Hand cut the words tea party from the second image and position over the top of the same image with dimensionals. Add a white satin bow and a blushing bride flower and a pearl for some bling. Each layer was put on with dimensionasl to give depth to the card. For easier mailing, just leave the dimensionals off for a flat card.
