Hi Stampers, today we had a sketch challenge so I decided to get out the Feelings of Christmas stamp set and make a nice fall card for my share today. Rain is in the forecast and we are so glad to get that news. Rain, the change of weather and a fall wreath card welcome in the autumn season.
Here is the sketch:
Stampin’ Up! Feelings of Christmas:
Here is the card recipe:
Card base: Very Vanilla 4-1/4 x 11 scored at 5-1/2
Mat: Cajun Craze 4 x 5-1/4
Art piece: Very Vanilla 3-7/8 x 5-1/8
Sentiment: Very Vanilla 5/8 x 5 punched with the Triple Banner punch
The Details:
- Stamp the wreath image in Early Espresso
- Stamp the free from wreath image in stamped off Crushed Curry on top of your wreath image
- With your blender pens color in the leaves with Lemon Lime Twist and Garden Green
- Color in the large balls and bow with Crushed Curry
- Color in the tiny berries with your Early Espresso Stampin Marker
- Run this art piece through your Big Shot using the Pine Wood Planks Embossing Folder
- Mount your art piece to your Cajun Craze matte and adhere to the front of your card base with dimensionals
- Stamp your sentiment in Early Espresso ink and mount to the front of the card with dimensionals
More Details:
- I added a few tiny pearls to the wreath because, well its just not a Kristi card without some bling
- A Pumpkin Pie Enamel Shape to the right of the sentiment finished the card
The Inside:
- I added some more foliage using the same inks as the wreath for the element of surprise when you open the card
