Alternate Monday Stampin’ Up Dashing Deer

Hi Stampers, It’s Alternate Monday day.  That means I am sharing a card taken from the blog hop that I participate in each Thursday. I am taking either the sketch or color challenge and making a second card that is close to or similar to the posted card from the hop.  I want to inspire you to get different looks for your card by mixing it up a bit by color and design.  Today I used the same layout, with a twist and changed the colors to give the card an “Alternate” look.

As you can see this card looks so different yet the layout is the same only turned from horizontal to vertical.  It is amazing how different they look by the color and paper that your use.

What a difference the colors and shapes make! I love the soft colors and the embossing. Those beautiful snowflakes add so much to both cards. Love your Alt Monday series and seeing how you do it! TFS.

  2. Julie Johnston says:

THis is a VERY lovely card, Kristi! Love the soft colors and the embossing, Nature theme (snowflakes and deer) are more my style than snowmen, though I really liked that card too. Thanks for your alternate Monday card ideas.
