Stampin’ Up! Floral Boutique and Daisy Delight Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Hi Stampers, Today for our hop we had a color challenge using Night of Navy, Daffodil Delight and Old Olive.  My card used the Floral Boutique Designer Series Paper and the New in the upcoming catalog Daisy Delight Punch.  I love this color combination and the paper in this pack could make several beautiful variations for this card design.

Stampin’ Up Something For Baby Thank You Card

Hi Stampers:  Today I am sharing a thank you card that I make for a wonderful group of friends.  These wonderful ladies all made generous contributions to a local charity called “Boxes of Love”.  This group puts together boxes with clothes and supplies for foster babies in the Portland Oregon area.  It is a way to show these precious little ones they are loved and wanted.  I wanted to let these dear friends know how much I appreciated their contributions by making a very special thank you card for each of them.  The box they generously gave to was for a baby girl.  My promise was to match their contributions,  so my donation was to fill a baby boy box.  My heart was overflowing with gratitude for all these friends who  did so much  to  help this cause.    Together we can make a difference.

Stampin’ Up! More “Big on Birthdays” Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Hi Stampers, Another Thursday and that means more hopping with our Happy Inkin’ Thursday team.  Today we had a sketch challenge and I took some liberties (again).   The “Big On Birthdays” stamp set is moving to the annual catalog and I am very happy about that.  Today’s share is using that set and some of the retiring Party Animal DSP.  Now if you don’t have this paper the great thing about this card is you can use any paper you have, just change the ink colors to match the paper you choose, Easy Peasy!

Oh and do you notice our new banner?  Same great group and same wonderful team. We just changed out look.  I hope you like it, I sure do!

Here is the sketch:

I turned my card orientation to vertical and switched my art piece to the left.  For some reason they always seem backward to me when the art piece is on the right.  (I am such a rebel, lol)
